Cooler temperatures — and maybe some showers — headed to SoCal this weekend.
The mercury will reach the mid- to low-70s Friday and Saturday, and the rest of the week it’s looking to reach a low of the mid- to high-70s. With that, we could see temperatures in SoCal hit their highest point in two years, or at least since 2016.
The weekend forecast was in the low- to mid-80s with a couple of showers in the forecast for the evening Friday, but that seems less likely in the morning hours.
The high Friday could be 80F, with the low dipping into the mid-70s. The high Sunday could also be 80F, especially with a 20 percent chance of showers or storms at around noon time.
Saturday could have a lot of sun, while Sunday should be mostly sun, with wind as the only factor we could see in the afternoon.
The high on Monday will be 84F, while the low could land around 70F with a 20 percent chance of rain.

For Tuesday, the high in SoCal could get up to the late-to-mid-80s with a 40 percent chance of showers or storms at around noon, and the low could dip around the low-60s with a 40 percent chance of showers or storms by around 2 p.m. The rest of the week, the high will mostly hover around the mid- to high-70s with sunny weather.
On Wednesday, the high on SoCal will be the 80s and the low could land around the low-60s. The high on Thursday will be the mid-80s and the low could land around the low-70s. The high on Friday could be 84F and the low could land around the low-70s with a 20 percent chance of showers or storms.
